Kun-Yomi: うじOn-Yomi: シMeet Mr. K.A. (who?) He enjoys writing his initials
Kun-Yomi: こころOn-Yomi: シンHEART is a Netero head, 2 long ears, and a ponytail!
Kun-Yomi: もりOn-Yomi: シンThree-in-one! tree+tree+tree = forest! Also Animal Crossing in Japanese is called どうぶつの森 (dōbutsu no mori)!
Kun-Yomi: かた、〜がた
On-Yomi: ホウ
"Salute the sun!" Or you can imagine someone pointing in a direction very dramatically…
Kun-Yomi: えら(ぶ)On-Yomi: センChoose your starter! Would you like the fire type 己, the water type 己, or the grass type 共? Doesn’t the Kanji look like the 3 starters sitting on a ⻌?(P.S. 己 means oneself, 共 means together, 巽 means southeast, and finally, 選 means choose)
Kun-Yomi: わ(ける)
On-Yomi: ブン, フン, ブ
This one is easy, 刀 means sword and the ハ above looks like something that was sliced in two, hence ‘part, segment’! .
Also, if you’re not familiar with Rhythm Heaven (リズム天国), here’s the reference for the image 🐶 https://youtu.be/zrRVSDXUblY
Kun-Yomi: つら(なる), つ(れる)
On-Yomi: レン
It’s the King of Red Lions (赤獅子の王). Not really related to the meaning of 連, but I thought the shape matched. I think just having an image that you associate with a Kanji character can help in memorizing it.
